Resumo: Aiming at demonstrating the importance of AminoGut in piglet nutrition, this publication presents articles of researchers, who worked with AminoGut supplementation and/or L-Glutamine and L-Glutamic Acid in piglet’s nursery diets. The first part includes a general review of the functions of glutamine and glutamic acid in young animals, highlighting the importance of supplementing these amino acids in pre- and post-weaning piglet’s diets. The second part, describing the practical application of AminoGut, summarizes studies carried out for the development of this product and its practical use in commercial farms, justifying its inclusion in piglet feeds.
